This position is located onsite at our bustling rehabilitation facility in Dumfries, Virginia, where you will operate within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with a team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each patient's goals and physical condition.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to each individual.
• Design personalized rehabilitation programs that focus on improving range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR) using WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care and to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health by educating patients about injury prevention and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is comprised primarily of individuals seeking outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Each treatment will be tailored to meet their unique physical capabilities and rehabilitation goals, ensuring a comprehensive and personalized approach to care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Clean professional record, free of any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, preferably in a similar practice.
• Strong knowledge of current rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Skills in motivating and engaging patients to actively participate in their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
