TheraPlay Child Orthopedic Center is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Stafford, Virginia. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at TheraPlay, you will work onsite in our outpatient office located in Stafford, Virginia. This collaborative and family-friendly environment features state-of-the-art facilities designed specifically for pediatric rehabilitation. Our team-oriented atmosphere encourages communication and partnership not just within therapy disciplines but also with patients' families, fostering a supportive community around our young patients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, providing a consistent routine that allows for focused patient care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations tailored for children, assessing their individual needs and capabilities to establish a foundation for targeted therapy.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate both evidence-based practices and creative therapeutic techniques to engage young patients effectively.
• Regularly monitor and reassess each child's progress, adjusting treatment strategies in response to clinical signs and symptoms, and ensuring that therapy goals are consistently met.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously using the company's electronic health record system, completing SOAP notes, care plans, and progress summaries in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and their families on the recovery process, addressing potential challenges and providing strategies to foster independence in rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care for children receiving multiple therapy services, ensuring a seamless experience for both the patient and the family.
• Actively promote and embody the company's culture and core values, serving as an ambassador for TheraPlay within the community and among peers.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.

• Passion for working with a diverse patient demographic, demonstrating sensitivity to varying needs and backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
