Work Environment

This position is based onsite in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where you will engage directly with patients in a home care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide expert consultations to healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive support.
• Interact with all patients respectfully and effectively, maintaining adherence to our high customer service standards and building rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Conduct detailed assessments and interpret clinical findings to develop, implement, and reevaluate tailored treatment and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and billing processes in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and referral sources, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in community outreach, marketing efforts, and program development to promote clinic initiatives and enhance community engagement.
• Oversight of assigned support staff, fostering professional development and effective teamwork within the clinic.
• Engage in continuous professional growth through self-study, in-service programs, and attending relevant continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with patients of all ages, tailoring treatment approaches to meet their specific needs and goals. Building strong, therapeutic relationships with patients and their families will be crucial to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, in good standing.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with electronic health record systems or practice management software will be beneficial. A background in supervisory roles and program development in physical therapy settings is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
