Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress regularly and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Keeping detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment provided in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Our clinic primarily serves an outpatient population with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work with diverse patient demographics, including active adults and elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility and strength. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Demonstrated exceptional manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization skills.
• Strong assessment abilities, especially in a “Direct Access” setting, to efficiently evaluate and strategize care plans.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience requirements include 2 years in an outpatient orthopedic setting, candidates with additional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques or modalities will be favored. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous to streamline documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

New Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
