Work Environment

The position is onsite at our Fredericksburg facility, which boasts a collaborative atmosphere conducive to professional growth and teamwork. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while dedicating time to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and objectives, ensuring tailored and effective physical therapy plans.
• Manage a caseload, with an average of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, individualized treatment.
• Utilize advanced techniques and methodologies for effective rehabilitation, including manual therapy and guided exercise protocols.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities for optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient documentation and treatment tracking, facilitating clear communication across the care team.
• Motivate and educate patients to encourage active participation in their recovery through structured fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care that addresses all aspects of health and recovery.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress while adjusting treatment strategies to achieve the best results.
• Stay updated on the latest rehabilitation practices and protocols to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain syndromes. Our clientele mainly consists of individuals with private medical insurance, which allows us to focus on high-quality care tailored to the needs of each patient. You will work closely with a diverse group of individuals, each with unique recovery goals, further enhancing your skills and experience in rehabilitation practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Virginia.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and demonstrate excellence in developing and implementing exercise protocols.
• Proficient in using WebPT EMR Software for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly advantageous.
• Background in sports medicine or rehabilitation practice will be considered a plus.
• Skills in treating a diverse patient demographic, ranging from adolescent athletes to older adults.

Compensation and Benefits
