Magejestic Movement Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a pivotal member of our rehabilitation facility, you will be tasked with improving the quality of life for our patients by enabling them to regain strength, mobility, and functionality following orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our rehabilitation facility in Fredericksburg. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to offer a spacious and welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent and structured environment that allows for effective patient management and a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and specific orthopedic needs to establish treatment objectives.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based practices and various therapeutic techniques.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused, one-on-one care to maximize treatment effectiveness.
• Utilize manual therapy and exercise protocols to enhance patients' functional abilities, while minimizing discomfort.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals within our facility to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to track improvements and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in WebPT EMR Software effectively, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Educate and motivate patients in adopting healthier lifestyles, emphasizing the importance of fitness, flexibility, balance, and coordination in their recovery process.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during all therapeutic interventions.

Our facility primarily caters to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We focus on delivering specialized care to individuals seeking to restore their mobility, enhance their physical capabilities, and ultimately improve their quality of life. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, tailoring your approach to meet their unique therapeutic needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Strong ability to create, implement, and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Competence in using WebPT EMR Software for documenting patient care and treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with current trends and advancements in physical therapy, particularly in sports medicine.
• Skill in fostering relationships with patients to build trust and facilitate effective healing.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside full benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
