Work Environment

This position is onsite and involves working directly in patients' homes, where you will assess their conditions and provide personalized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions to identify their rehabilitation needs and set achievable goals.
• Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions, seeing patients every 40 minutes to provide personalized care and attention.
• Implement effective treatment strategies to enhance patients' mobility, balance, and strength, focusing on reducing medication reliance and minimizing surgical interventions.
• Design and modify individualized care plans using a range of evidence-based treatment techniques, ensuring optimal outcomes tailored to each patient.
• Create bespoke fitness and wellness programs that promote long-lasting health benefits for patients.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey to foster a sense of achievement and improve functional performance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients.
• Regularly evaluate progress and communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding their treatment goals and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services according to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele include athletes recovering from injuries and individuals requiring rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions. By focusing on personalized care, you will engage with a diverse range of patients, from those seeking improvement in everyday activities to athletes aiming to return to peak performance levels.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of current treatment practices, medical conditions, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to connect with patients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home care setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing patient management software and documentation systems.
• Continuous professional development through courses and certifications in advanced therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, employees enjoy:
