About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key strategic partner, leading the finance and accounting discipline and driving organizational performance. This executive will be responsible for developing and implementing financial and operational strategies that align with the company's vision and goals, as well as leading the budget preparation process and providing financial insights to support the company's plans and operations. The role also involves serving as a leader in M&A activities, overseeing the investment of funds, and managing the financial side of employee benefits. The CFO will be expected to have a balanced leadership style, high ethical standards, and a strong business acumen, and to ensure the company's compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with a background in a senior executive role. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required, with an MBA, CPA, and/or CFA being highly desired. The ideal candidate will have expert industry knowledge of fuel and/or propane distribution, experience in a full range of insurance markets, and in-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. The CFO must be a resilient and adaptable leader, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of being results-oriented and highly organized.
