Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, from case inception through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation matters
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Manage case files and maintain organized litigation databases
• Coordinate and track deadlines, court filings, and case calendars
• Conduct legal and factual research
• Draft correspondence and discovery responses
• Organize, review, and summarize medical, business, and other case-related records
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparations
• Prepare exhibit lists, witness files, trial binders, and other courtroom materials
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors
• Assist attorneys during trial and other litigation proceedings as needed

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred (Civil Litigation or Personal Injury Preffered)
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and filing requirements
• Experience managing large volumes of documents and discovery
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Trial preparation experience is strongly preferred
