About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of University Advising to uphold a high standard of excellence in undergraduate student advising. The successful candidate will be a champion of student success, responsible for coordinating, managing, and leading undergraduate academic advising teams. This role involves serving as a liaison with various offices, representing advising on large-scale university initiatives, and managing a centralized advising budget. The Executive Director will also be the primary contact for institutional strategy in academic advising, ensuring consistent implementation of advising initiatives, and providing support for emerging advising issues. Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, and at least 7 years of relevant experience. Essential qualifications include a demonstrated commitment to student success, expertise in higher education administration and leadership, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. The role requires the ability to innovate and improve processes in a higher education setting, as well as experience with enterprise software platforms. The Executive Director will be responsible for advisor professional development, designing and deploying advising communications, and coordinating with academic units on various advising-related matters.
