CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerLocation: Streetboro We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who enjoys programming, setup, machining, and troubleshooting and wants to work in a stable manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming and machining experience, the ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings, and experience working with both CNC and conventional machines.ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC and conventional/manual lathes and millsProgram CNC mills and lathes and make programming adjustments as neededUtilize G-Code for CNC programming and editingSet up mills and lathes by installing chucks, tools, attachments, and other equipmentVerify machine settings by measuring positions and producing first-run and sample partsRead and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and SolidWorks drawingsUse precision inspection and measurement equipment to verify parts before, during, and after machiningMaintain required part tolerances and identify potential quality issuesTroubleshoot machine setups and machining problemsFollow written and verbal instructions accuratelyParticipate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentWork independently while also contributing effectively as part of a teamRequired Qualifications2–4 years of CNC machining experience, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and machining operationsExperience with G-Code programming and editingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawingsStrong knowledge of shop mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and related mathematical applicationsAbility to use precision measurement and inspection instrumentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a preemployment screeningCNC Equipment & Controls Experience with the following is a plus:Quick TechDaewooEMCO MaierYama-SeikiFanuc ControlsPay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | 1-hour lunch Benefits & PerksFull benefits available after 30 days2 weeks of vacation after 60 days following the evaluation period16 paid holidaysCompany Christmas shutdown from December 21 through January 2Stable opportunity with a company that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvementNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
