Overview Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full-arch dental implant center in Metairie, LA, seeks a skilled CRNA to provide general anesthesia for full mouth implant procedures. The position is PRN; compensation starts at $225 per hour and is negotiable. Position Details Hourly rate: $225, negotiable Daily guarantee whether you work or not Schedule: report at 6:30 a.m.; first surgery at 7 a.m. 1099 contractor No nights, weekends, call, or holidays Benefits Excellent work–life balance Vacation coverage Independent practice; 100% autonomy All CRNA practice responsibilities Required Experience Minimum two years of CRNA practice One year of independent solo-provider experience Recent general-anesthesia experience Proficiency in nasal intubations Experience in an outpatient or surgery-center setting Preferred Experience Dental anesthesia experience Office-based anesthesia experience Education & Licensure Graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Active registered nurse (RN) license Active advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA or Red Cross Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance Duties Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full-mount dental implants in an office-based setting Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to develop and implement anesthesia plans Follow protocols and guidelines to ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia Perform pre-operative assessments and educate patients regarding options and risks Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses Stay current on evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment Success Criteria Success is defined by delivering safe, consistent anesthesia to every patient.
