Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients requiring radiation therapy
• Design individual treatment plans and oversee the administration of therapies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Monitor patient progress and make modifications to treatments as necessary
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and procedures
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiation oncology

Requirements

• MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
• 1+ years of clinical experience in radiation oncology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

Schedule: 8a-4:30p, specific dates

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Population: Adult & geriatric

Required Procedures: Radiation oncology, emergent/urgent clinic visits, and treatment planning, treatment supervision

Support Staff: RN

EMR: Epic & Aria

Must be board-certified
