Work Environment\n

This is a remote position within a telehealth setting, allowing our therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes while utilizing our state-of-the-art telehealth technology. We operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some evening hours required based on client appointments. Our remote model supports a flexible work-life balance while ensuring that you can fully engage with clients and colleagues through a variety of digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to evaluate mental health and substance use disorders, identifying co-occurring issues to inform treatment.

• Collaborate closely with clients to co-create tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, prioritizing both mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients enhance their coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic care that addresses the full spectrum of client needs.

• Monitor client progress through regular substance use assessments and engagement strategies, motivating clients towards sustained recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of continuous treatment.

• Ensure that all documentation concerning treatment plans, therapy sessions, and client progress is maintained accurately and in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case conferences and ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in integrated care and co-occurring disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. The complexity of this patient population requires not just clinical expertise but also empathy and a deep understanding of the socioeconomic factors that may influence their recovery journey. Your role will be instrumental in guiding clients toward improved mental stability and life skills, catering to diverse backgrounds and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapies, particularly those suited for co-occurring disorders.

• A well-rounded knowledge of how mental health and substance use disorders interact, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating teamwork.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience working with populations facing co-occurring disorders and familiarity with Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment is preferred.

• Experience in a telehealth or remote setting, including proficiency with relevant technology and software platforms, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
