Senior Mechanical Project Manager – San Rafael, CA This role focuses on managing a chiller replacement project for a large public building in San Rafael. You will lead the project team, perform constructability reviews, write bid documents, and oversee schedules and RFPs. Responsibilities Lead a project team or multiple projects, or manage an entire program. Define the technical scope of the project. Promote repeat business opportunities and create favorable references through effective coordination, administration, and communication of project tasks. Review cost estimates and maintain project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures. Manage project‑level conflict resolution. Facilitate and maintain communication with the client, providing monthly, weekly, and daily reports. Achieve the client’s objectives by successfully managing the project’s goals and objectives. Other duties as assigned. Maintain attendance during normal business hours. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction management. Strong leadership skills: delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, give ongoing feedback, and monitor metrics. Ability to distinguish between cause and effect of problems. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to act as a liaison among all project stakeholders. Experience managing team members’ activity and holding yourself and others accountable. Creative, resourceful problem solving, especially in compressed timeframes. Preferred Education, Certifications, and Experience BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or a related field. Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED DSA. Project experience with P6 required. Experience with large public building projects is a plus. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $136,000.00–$181,333.36 per year (base salary only).
