Senior Accountant (Family Office)

A multi-generational single family office overseeing 300+ entities — partnerships, trusts, operating companies, charitable entities, and real estate — is seeking a Senior Accountant to serve as a primary accountant across its portfolio, including a large affiliated foundation. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives managing complexity across multiple entities in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as primary accountant for the family office and its foundation, managing day-to-day bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance Perform monthly reconciliations across bank, brokerage, and investment accounts Prepare and route wire transfers with proper supporting documentation, including foundation grants and distributions (tracking against annual minimum distribution requirements) Calculate capital calls and member contributions/distributions across partnership and LLC structures Analyze cash flow and liquidity to support upcoming investments and spending needs Enter/reconcile K-1s and prepare tax workpapers for partnerships, trusts, and foundations Maintain audit-ready documentation and support foundation compliance (grant tracking, Form 990-PF support) Identify and elevate discrepancies or process gaps; support workflow standardization Partner closely with the CFO, Controller, and external tax/legal advisors Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus 6+ years progressive accounting experience; family office, private foundation, private equity, or HNW experience strongly preferred Prior experience as primary/lead accountant for a family office strongly preferred Strong grasp of partnership accounting (capital accounts, K-1 allocations, capital calls/distributions) Familiarity with private foundation accounting a plus Archway experience preferred; advanced Excel skills High discretion, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently across multiple entities #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
