Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Labor and Delivery Nurse

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

- Current RN license in state of practice

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor

- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor

- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor

- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course

- At least two years recent experience in Labor & Delivery

- Provide comprehensive nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

- Assess fetal and maternal well-being, manage labor pain, and implement appropriate pain control measures.

- Participate in emergency situations, including circulating for C-sections and managing perinatal emergencies.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement multidisciplinary care plans.

- Educate patients and families about perinatal and postpartum care.

- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel in accordance with their scope of practice.
