You will manage your own schedule while adhering to our operational hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on developing essential coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Engage in regular case consultations with the multidisciplinary team—psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—to ensure holistic treatment delivery.

• Implement ongoing substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to foster clients' commitment to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment adherence.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of treatment progress in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to continuously enhance your skills in treating co-occurring disorders.

Your primary focus will be individuals grappling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, characterized by complex needs requiring specialized and compassionate care. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is essential.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies tailored to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Deep understanding of the correlation between mental health and substance use issues, along with an ability to discuss these complexities with clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on effective collaboration and communication in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
