Parts Inventory Specialist

Warehouse PositionThis entry level Warehouse position is responsible to properly order, receive, store, and account for parts or merchandise.Responsibilities:Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e. Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down, Transfers, & Surplus Returns)Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfersPerforms cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory; reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged productsAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyEnsures that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised; call customers for parts pick-up and delivers parts if necessaryAssists Manager with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventoryMaintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all timesPerforms other duties as assignedExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:High School diploma or equivalent experienceExperience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, establishes rapportDemonstrates basic understanding of the selling processesDemonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applicationsAbility to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbsPay Range: $16.50 - $20.00 per hourBenefits: We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance along with paid time off, 401(k), cell phone allowance, safety item reimbursements, AHW branded clothing, and training.
