Compensation and Benefits Analyst

Administer and support the company’s compensation and benefits programs Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis Evaluate job descriptions and classifications for appropriate compensation levels Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits regulations Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, metrics, and benefits utilization reports Ensure accuracy of benefits enrollments and payroll deductions Reconcile benefit invoices against payroll deductions and resolve discrepancies Assist employees with compensation, benefits, enrollment, claims, plan changes, and qualified life events Process and administer FMLA, ADA, disability, and other leave requests Support open enrollment system configuration, testing, and validation Serve as primary contact for workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with insurers and occupational health facilities Lead the company Safety Committee and participate in the Risk Management program Administer the tuition reimbursement program and perform annual 401K compliance testing and audit Serve as primary HR support contact for one company and manage routine HR functions Collaborate with HR, Finance, and HRIS teams Participate in committees, councils, community outreach, and safety initiatives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or 3 years of equivalent related experience required 3 years’ experience in compensation and benefit analysis Strong analytical skills Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems Familiarity with compensation surveys, job evaluation methods, and benefits administration Knowledge of FLSA, ACA,

ERISA

, HIPAA, and COBRA Human Resources certification preferred Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Must reside in North Carolina (NC) Ability to work minimum 40 hours per week, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in administering compensation and benefits programs, conducting salary benchmarking, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
