Please cut and paste this URL into a new browser to view our detailed list of benefits or apply directly on our career site SET THE COURSE The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist performs various Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks and provides support to Oxford Industries and Tommy Bahama Wholesale Division. • Perform AR duties utilizing SAP, Blue Cherry and B2B systems.
• Daily tasks including: review of mailboxes for customer returns and schedule daily Blue Cherry sales reports to compare with SAP and research discrepancies [invoicing, credit memos, debit memos, returns]
• Weekly issuance of Return Authorizations (RA) based on information provided by Customer Service or Wholesale and review open RA report to determine if RAs need to be cancelled.
• Issue credit/debit memos based on information provided by Seattle Finance, Sales Rep, Customer Service or Oxford AR
• Mail invoices for accounts with no email addresses
• Maintain commission table on a seasonal basis and sales tax table as needed.
• Prepare various journal entries, supporting schedules and assists in the monthly close process.
• Review various audit reports [EDI, Customer Master, etc.]
• Maintain transit card supply for New York employees.
• Month end tasks including: clearing of Canadian sales samples, working with Accounting to determine which personal balances can be cleared, run and update spreadsheet for margin assistance report, compile drop ship report and creation of manual invoices sent to Oxford and customer.
• Liaise with TB Wholesale and Oxford Corporate Divisions to support business needs.
• Develop effective strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner
• Other duties as required to support the business.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

• HS Diploma, some college preferred.
• A/R experience preferred, apparel industry experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written skills; able to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Understanding of basic Accounting terms, practices and concepts required
• Data entry experience required.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS office Excel, Word and Outlook

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
