Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant Onsite / Full-time Salary: $25-$28/hr DOE We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. You will provide support within the Accounting and Human Resources department, handling a high volume set of tasks. You must possess effective communication skills and a high level of confidence in your abilities, as you will work in a fast-paced environment. Job Description Accounts Payable - processing invoices, check runs, and vendor management Accounts Receivable - billing/invoicing, deposits, and reconciliations Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues Working as an entry-level accountant for payroll-related audit, payroll reports, and other related duties Assist with annual tax and compliance documents and year end 1099's Support accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry Verify data by comparing it to source documents Performs other accounting and finance duties as required Qualifications Entry-level position; minimum 2-year college or associate's degree (emphasis/specialization in Accounting, Finance, or related field) 3 years of relevant Accounting experience 2 years recent experience with QuickBooks (desktop: Required, online exp prefer) Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Strong analytical skills; extremely organized with great attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
