Urology Physician

We are seeking a Urology Physician to join our hospital-based team. This full-time locum position involves 24-hour call coverage with specific shifts scheduled around key dates, including holiday coverage and regular on-call duties. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Urology experience, BC or BE qualification, and possess an active PA license (preferred for quicker onboarding). The role includes supervision of Advanced Practice Providers, participation in robotic surgeries when applicable, and performing core urological procedures such as vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, and more. Coverage is needed for specific dates starting July 4, 2026, with a mix of full 24-hour call shifts and shorter day shifts. The setting is a hospital with available robotic surgery and up-to-date EMR system (EPIC). Support staff includes 4 Medical Assistants, 1 Certified Surgical Assistant, and 1 RN. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $3,251.82, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and a robust referral bonus program. Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other expenses are provided as applicable.

Schedule:

• 24-hour call shifts: July 4-10, July 27-31
• 10-hour call shifts: July 10 and July 31 (7 am-5 pm)
• Call callback: 2-6 hours per day

Requirements:

• Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology
• PA License (preferred for faster onboarding) or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA license
• Minimum 1 year post-residency experience
• Credentialing period approximately 90 days, temps available with a clean file
