This contract role, spanning the academic year, offers the chance to work closely with early childhood, kindergarten, first, and second grade students—helping them achieve their fullest potential each day in a nurturing and inclusive setting. The position runs from August 17th to June 3rd, following a schedule of 7:55 AM to 2:55 PM, Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for school-based practice
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Creative problem-solving approach to student needs
• Comfortable adapting therapy to various developmental levels
• Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with EC-2nd grade students
• COTAs are not eligible for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within classrooms and individualized sessions
• Assess students and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals specific to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster inclusive learning
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
• Participate in professional development and training as needed
