Purchasing & Compliance Assistant

Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Purchasing & Compliance Assistant to join a dynamic team in California. This role is perfect for individuals who have a knack for organization, process management, and administrative support while looking to gain valuable exposure to purchasing and supply chain functions. Responsibilities Support purchasing activities and manage purchase order processing. Assist with inventory replenishment and monitor order tracking. Keep track of supplier shipments and lead times. Track and document inventory movement accurately. Maintain and organize purchasing records, logs, and supporting documentation. Oversee compliance-related documentation and reporting. Review documents for accuracy and completeness. Track certifications, records, and compliance requirements. Facilitate communication with suppliers and internal teams. Contribute to process improvements and administrative projects. Provide backup support for related administrative functions as needed. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in administrative, purchasing support, inventory, or compliance roles. Experience with ERP systems is preferred. Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Required Work Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Benefits The position offers a competitive pay of $28.00 per hour. Additional Details This is a temp-to-hire position with 100% onsite work in San Jose, CA.
