Jefferson County Circuit Clerk's Office Charles Town, WV Starting Salary: $39,500 annually Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Jefferson County Circuit Clerk's Office is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Deputy Clerk . This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the Circuit Clerk's Office by providing administrative and customer service support in a fast-paced public office environment. Essential Functions Perform a variety of general office and administrative duties Maintain records and files with accuracy and attention to detail Assist members of the public, attorneys, court personnel, and other stakeholders in a professional manner Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately Work collaboratively with office staff to support daily operations Complete additional duties and assignments as directed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of five (5) years of office experience Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple priorities in a sometimes fast-paced setting Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer applications Why Join Jefferson County?
