Job Details Job Location: 1035 Meacham Blvd - Fort Worth, TX 76106 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Not Specified Salary Range: $17.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Manufacturing Position Summary The Robot Operator Level 1’s role is to set up and operate a robotic welder to meet or exceed customer specs by reading blueprints, create parts and assemblies that meet or exceed customer and productivity requirements. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. Primary Responsibilities Locate and ensure correct material is delivered to work center Learn and apply Robot procedures Learn to implement safety policies and procedures Learn to follow a WPS Assist higher level robot operators and receive hands on experience and training. Ensure machine is working properly. Ensure appropriate nesting program is delivered to work center Ensure nesting program matches print with work order Ensure that the correct gas, speed and consumables are applied correctly Accurately project completion of work orders at work center Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion Other duties assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Welding knowledge and or Welding employment experience Knowledge of 6S Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance. Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred. Environment / Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 100lbs. Must be able to position welding apparatus in any position the work required. Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals. Physical weld testing on site must be acceptable.
