Sector Leader – Industrials & Financial/Professional Services | Executive Search & Private Equity Advisory New York, NY (Hybrid) This is a unique opportunity to join a specialized executive search and private equity advisory firm that partners closely with private equity investors and their portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle. Unlike a traditional executive search firm, the organization combines executive search, leadership advisory, industry expertise, and market intelligence to help private equity firms make better investment and leadership decisions. They work with investors before acquisitions by providing industry insights and access to senior executives, and after investments by helping portfolio companies build world-class leadership teams. What You'll Do Lead and grow the Industrials and Financial/Professional Services practice. Build and manage relationships with private equity firms, portfolio company executives, operating partners, and C-suite leaders . Partner with investors on executive search assignments and leadership strategies for portfolio companies. Serve as a trusted advisor by providing industry insights, executive market intelligence, and leadership expertise. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while helping grow the practice through business development. Ideal Background Experience in executive search, private equity advisory, management consulting, operating leadership, or another executive-facing advisory environment . Strong exposure to Industrials or Financial/Professional Services . Experience working with private equity firms, portfolio companies, or senior executives . Proven ability to build executive relationships and develop new business. Someone who enjoys operating as a trusted advisor and influencing leadership decisions at the executive level.
