Thank you for your interest in a career with us. | My Account Options Job Description - Operations Specialist (262498) Job Description Job Number: 262498 - Full-time Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Shift 1st Shift Job overview Schneider is seeking an Operations Specialist in Delaware, OH to be accountable for working with drivers, improving day-to-day processes, increasing business efficiencies and completing administrative processes. The Operations Specialist will accomplish this work through using tracking systems and working with other team members. Responsibilities Assign freight to company drivers. Ensure optimal use of driver capacity. Provide feedback to leaders about challenges related to capacity and customers. Work closely with drivers and customers to solve issues that arise. Skills and qualifications Have a high school diploma or GED. One year of operations experience preferred. Have strong written and oral communication skills. Able to manage multiple priorities. Non-exempt U.S. office associates working a minimum of 4 continuous hours between the hours of 4pm – 5am local time, receive a $1.25 per hour differential for hours worked or $2.00 per hour for weekend hours (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday – 5am Monday).
