Work Environment

This position is set in the patient's home, providing you with the unique opportunity to deliver therapy in a comfortable, familiar environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations which include reviewing patient medical histories and performing detailed physical assessments to formulate treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and explain the treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting therapy goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that align with each patient's individual needs while adjusting care plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care which may involve consultations regarding patient's condition adjustments.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and progress in a timely manner.
• Maintain productivity expectations, demonstrating effective time management and a commitment to adhering to an organized patient schedule.
• Participate in organizational marketing efforts, promoting our services within the community while also contributing to hospital initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional development and learning opportunities to enhance personal capabilities and overall team competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries such as hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as those managing chronic pain conditions and sports injuries. You will work closely with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care that respects their unique situations and needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy as required for the Clearwater, Florida location.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience is not necessary; however, candidates with experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings may have an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
