About the Position

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - Pharmacist (712)

Job Details:

• Overnight shift from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
• Located in the inpatient pharmacy on the 2nd floor
• Work with Pyxis machines and CII safe equipment
• Utilize Meditech and Vigilanz EMR systems
• Perform order verification and medication final verification
• Perform clinical dosing per established guidelines and document clinical tasks in Vigilanz software
• Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital pharmacist experience required
• Colorado pharmacist license required
• ACLS and BLS preferred
• PGY1 residency preferred
• Inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well with a team required
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities required
• Opportunity to gain experience in critical care, emergency department, and various other clinical areas

Facility:

This progressive inpatient pharmacy operates within a large 406-bed hospital facility, staffed by approximately 30 pharmacists across multiple shifts and specialty areas. The pharmacy team supports a wide range of clinical areas including unit dose, IV, satellite, emergency department, critical care, oncology, and infectious disease. Staff benefit from working alongside experienced pharmacists and technicians in a collaborative and dynamic environment with access to modern technology and equipment.
