Associate Attorney - Commercial LitigationOur client is an established, boutique commercial litigation firm based in Palm Beach County. They represent businesses and organizations and are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to expand their commercial litigation team. Please note that this is an in-office position only, based in West Palm Beach.Qualifications:Previous experience in commercial litigation required.Strong legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy skills.Eagerness to attend and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.Ability to independently manage cases from start to finish and effectively utilize case resources.Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.Team-oriented with strong communication skills.Responsibilities:Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions.Respond to motions and manage discovery.Attend and/or chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings, and negotiate settlements.Communicate effectively with team members and clients.Compensation and Benefits: This position pays a competitive annual salary with both discretionary bonuses and discretionary profit sharing. Our client rewards the team when the firm is doing well!Medical coverage through BCBS (PPO/HMO), with 50% of the employee-only premium covered by the firm.
