Family Law Litigation Paralegal

Job Description About the Role: DIAMOND AND DIAMOND is seeking a competent, energetic, and experienced Part-Time Family Law Paralegal for in-person employment, working with our team of family law attorneys and other paraprofessionals in a fast-paced small firm environment. This is not an entry-level position. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience level and hours of employment sought. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys and the firm's paraprofessional office staff with handling all aspects of the firm's client matters Drafting, editing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, court applications, and correspondence electronically with the Court System Assist in organizing client files and maintaining client files in an organized manner (paper and electronic files) Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts, as needed. Perform administrative tasks to support the legal team. Requirements: Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in family law. Strong understanding of legal terminology and family law procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in document preparation. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
