DescriptionRoom AttendantDepartment: HousekeepingReports To: Housekeeping SupervisorPosition SummaryThe Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness throughout assigned guest rooms and public areas. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring each space reflects professionalism, care, and attention to detail.We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of efficiency and consistency in hospitality.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGuest Room CleaningThoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms within established time standards.Make beds according to company standards.Sweep and mop floors.Dust and wipe walls, ceilings, furniture, fixtures, and all surfaces.Clean mirrors, windows, telephones, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and other in-room amenities.Restock guest supplies and amenities according to company standards.Notify Supervisor of bedspreads or linens requiring special cleaning.Accurately complete room assignment sheets.Identify, document, and report maintenance issues promptly.Bathroom CleaningThoroughly clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including:FloorsVanitiesToiletsBathtubs and showersShower curtainsMirrorsVentsReplenish towels and guest amenities to standard levels.Operational ResponsibilitiesStock and maintain housekeeping cart daily.Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines.Deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms in a timely manner.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Department Head.QualificationsPrevious housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.Ability to work efficiently within time standards.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move for extended periods.Professional attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays as required in the hospitality industry.QualificationsAbility to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks6 months housekeeping experience (hospitality preferred).Familiar with industrys best practicesResponsible and trustworthyComputer and phone literacy requiredWork experience as a Room AttendantExperience with industrial cleaning equipment and productsMust be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular and continuing basis.Must have the ability to bend, squat, and frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs, occasionally.Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as neededA high school diploma is a plusAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
