Edison Main Campus, Edison, NJ, US The Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning (WDLL) Department of Middlesex College invites applications for a part-time, non-credit Kitchen Assistant to support the following culinary instruction program: Important: Please note that a non-credit Kitchen Assistant is not an adjunct position. Successful candidates teach courses in the WDLL Department. Preps all ingredients as per the recipes. This may include, cleaning all produce, knife skills, weighing, portioning, precook, and cleaning. Secures equipment for instructor and participants. Sets tables for guests as needed. Sets up and greets guests. Cleans and stores equipment. Secures the kitchen at the end of class. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Three years of experience as a chef Knowledge of kitchen equipment Organizational Skills Great Interpersonal Skills Supplemental Information Please include day, evening, and/or Saturday availability in your application. #J-18808-Ljbffr MIDDLESEX COLLEGE
