Simply put, our culture is amazing.The Financial Center Manager II is a senior, hands-on leader accountable for sustained growth, client experience, talent development and risk discipline within a larger, more complex or higher-volume Financial Center. The role may also provide coaching, operational support or leadership influence across multiple Financial Centers, serving as a market resource and mentor to other leaders and colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Growth and Financial PerformanceOwn and execute the business plan, production pipeline, profitability, expense discipline and goal achievement for a larger or more complex Financial Center.Use scorecards, income drivers, client segmentation, market trends and peer insights to identify growth opportunities and best practices.Lead advanced outside calling and centers-of-influence development to acquire and deepen high-value consumer, business, lending and wealth relationships.Coach Financial Center leaders and colleagues on pipeline management, relationship deepening, referral effectiveness and disciplined execution.Executive Client Experience and RetentionSet the standard for personalized, proactive and high-touch service across the assigned Financial Center or market scope.Own complex, high-value or sensitive client relationships and escalations through completion with transparent communication.Coach leaders and colleagues on relationship reviews, retention strategies and sustainable service-recovery practices.Use client feedback, complaint trends and service data to implement improvements across the market.Leadership Development and CultureRecruit, onboard, coach and retain a high-performing team while serving as a mentor and resource to other Financial Center leaders.Establish consistent coaching, performance-management, sales/service and talent-review routines.Build development plans, readiness plans, succession options and bench strength for critical Financial Center roles.Lead change with clarity, reinforce One Team accountability and share best practices across locations.Risk Governance and Enterprise InfluenceMaintain strong oversight of operational, regulatory, reputational, human-capital and sales-practice risk.Act on audit results, exceptions, losses, complaints and process trends, requiring sustainable corrective action and follow-through.Serve as a subject-matter resource for operational discipline, audit readiness and risk escalation across one or more Financial Centers.Represent Peapack as a senior market leader and connect opportunities to wealth, lending, treasury, commercial and other enterprise partners.Key Behavioral ExpectationsLead with agility and adaptability, responding effectively to changing priorities, ambiguity and client needs.Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and continuous learning, using feedback, data and market insight to improve results.Use AI, automation and emerging technologies responsibly to improve efficiency, insight and client service while protecting confidentiality and applying human judgment.Apply enterprise-wide thinking and sound judgment, balancing client needs, risk discipline, profitability and long-term trust.Model white-glove hospitality through personalized, proactive and high-touch experiences for clients, prospects, colleagues and partners.Coach and develop others, building leadership capability and consistent execution across the market.QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.7 to 10+ years of retail banking, Financial Center leadership, relationship management or comparable financial services experience, including 3+ years of supervisory or people-leadership experience.Proven ability to lead a larger, complex or high-volume Financial Center and deliver sustained business growth, client loyalty, team accountability and operational integrity.Experience coaching leaders, building talent pipelines, supporting performance across multiple locations or leading market-level initiatives preferred.Strong relationship-development skills, including community engagement, centers-of-influence development, referral management and relationship deepening.Strong knowledge of consumer, business, lending, digital, treasury and wealth solutions and the ability to coordinate enterprise-wide recommendations.Strong understanding of Financial Center operations, risk management, audit controls and banking regulations; ability to meet applicable SAFE Act, NMLS, Bank policy and regulatory requirements.Established centers-of-influence, private banking or affluent client experience, Notary Public commission and bilingual capability based on market needs preferred.Benefits Overview:We offer a competitive compensation package, a generous paid time off program, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, maternity/paternity leave, education reimbursement, wellness programs and more. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
