We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support our accounting operations and administrative functions.. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting customers.. Sort and review freight invoices for payment, disputing them as necessary to resolve billing discrepancies.. Handle basic data entry and maintain an accurate invoicing database.. Support general administrative and office duties as assigned.. Monitor customer accounts, generate statements, and contact customers via phone or email regarding past due balances and payments.. Work with customers to establish payment arrangements where necessary.. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required.. Experience in administrative and office support.. Previous Accounts Receivable and/or collections experience is a plus.. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting software is required.. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).. Strong organizational skills.. Ability to multitask and prioritize.. Reliable, professional, and a team player.. Bilingual is a plus (Spanish).
