Overview Position: Patient Sitter - East Campus Medical Center Location: East Campus Medical Center (Alvarado Road) • Department: EC Nursing Administration • Appointment Type: Career • Appointment Percent: 90% Filing Deadline: Fri 9/19/2025 Responsibilities Under supervision, assist with activities of daily living, collection of vital signs, and maintenance of a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Perform uncomplicated technical procedures. Participate in performance improvement activities and use a variety of technical equipment and supplies. Participate in the administrative functions of the unit as needed/where appropriate. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within 6 months of hire date. Minimum six (6) months previous experience in an acute care hospital, psychiatric facility, or physician's office. Demonstrated ability to observe deviations from normal. Preferred Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. Medical Terminology Certificate. Bilingual: Spanish/English. Special Conditions Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
