Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist at Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center

Position Overview

Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center is actively seeking a full-time Physical Therapist who will play a pivotal role in rehabilitating patients and enhancing their physical well-being. This position is based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the vibrant city of San Diego, California. As a Physical Therapist, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs, ultimately empowering them to regain mobility and function.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a 5,000 square-foot rehabilitation center equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technology. This dynamic environment promotes teamwork and a holistic approach to patient care, allowing you to engage with both colleagues and clients directly. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent routine while you focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical capabilities and set therapy goals in alignment with their needs.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Design and implement effective orthotic and rehabilitative treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Administer manual therapy techniques to improve patients' range of motion and functional mobility.
• Motivate patients to adhere to treatment protocols and encourage their full participation in recovery.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding patient care and progress, utilizing EMR systems like WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with private medical insurance, which allows us to provide individualized attention and personalized rehabilitation services. You will work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals undergoing post-surgical recovery, and seniors seeking to improve their mobility and quality of life. Your role will be crucial in helping our patients surpass their rehabilitation goals and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with full benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
