Family First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our growing team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in San Diego, California. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is onsite at our engaging rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant city of San Diego. Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that prioritizes high-quality patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while maximizing patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals, needs, and functional limitations, leading to well-informed treatment plans.
• Manage a diverse caseload, providing individualized therapy sessions at a rate of one patient per hour.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve patients' range of motion and mobility while ensuring they are engaged in their rehabilitation process.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment methodologies tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Promote advanced wellness through the design of customized fitness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Regularly assess and document treatment outcomes, ensuring clarity in communication with patients and the healthcare team.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, serving as their support and guidance to optimize recovery.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of California.
• Proven track record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, coupled with strong skills in exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, is essential for seamless patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing direct patient care skills.
• Strong background in sports medicine and rehabilitation therapy is beneficial, particularly for working with diverse athletic populations.
• Experience in developing therapies to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by robust benefits.
