Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our outpatient office, allowing for direct patient interaction and collaboration with colleagues. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our practice features a modern 5,000-square-foot facility, designed to support a range of therapies, including sports medicine and rehabilitation. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a well-structured environment that facilitates balance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' individual goals and requirements, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, typically managing 2-3 patients per hour.
• Employ a variety of orthopedic treatment techniques to improve patient mobility and function.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously to track progress and refine care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to therapy protocols as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our typical patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. We mainly accept private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on providing personalized and cost-effective treatment without the constraints often found in larger hospital settings. By prioritizing preventative care and rehabilitation, you will help patients not only recover but also thrive in their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Arizona State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT or similar systems.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective and engaging fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
