Work Environment

As a full-time employee, you will work in an onsite outpatient office, engaging actively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Our standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to work and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical function and motion, while establishing a detailed treatment plan based on their individual goals and needs.
• Utilize effective treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to enhance patients' mobility and strength.
• Maintain an optimal patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for thorough, personalized attention during each therapy session.
• Document treatment interventions and patient progress meticulously using EMR systems like WebPT, ensuring accurate record-keeping and continuity of care.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to empower them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring comprehensive support throughout rehabilitation.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination improvements for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position facilitates care for a wide range of patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic is diverse, including adolescents to seniors, each with unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. Your experience and expertise will be pivotal in guiding patients towards achieving their desired level of function and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, without any disciplinary actions on record.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient tracking.
• Strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journeys.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient environment, effectively managing a diverse caseload.
• Ability to utilize a variety of treatment modalities to address health concerns and improve patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of current rehabilitation trends and evidence-based practices within the orthopedic specialty.

Compensation and Benefits
