Our professional staff consists of experienced clinicians, including two seasoned Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant, who work collaboratively to ensure comprehensive care practices. Work Environment

Located in the picturesque city of San Diego, our rehabilitation facility presents a warm and welcoming onsite work environment. Our physical therapy center is designed to foster individualized patient care, allowing you to focus on one patient at a time during your sessions, ensuring personalized attention. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating work-life balance while working in a challenging and rewarding healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, create, and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations and patient objectives.
• Maintain a patient-focused approach by ensuring an optimal patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for close monitoring and adjustment of rehabilitation interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to improve movement efficiency and promote functional independence in your patients.
• Develop and customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's specific circumstances and rehabilitation goals.
• Employ manual therapy techniques alongside therapeutic exercise to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive healthcare strategies for patients.
• Document patient progress using electronic medical record systems, including proficiency in software such as WebPT.
• Engage with patients and motivate them throughout the treatment process, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects, making necessary adjustments to maximize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population seeking outpatient orthopedic care aimed at rehabilitation. Many patients present with conditions resulting from sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, or chronic pain, and it is your mission to provide effective, non-surgical alternatives to enhance their mobility and functionality. Our team takes pride in providing care that emphasizes minimizing reliance on medications through holistic therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no prior disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of evidence-based exercise routines.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient care, with a proven track record of successfully treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered goals.
• Experience developing and implementing wellness and fitness programs that address the unique needs of patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
