Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement treatment interventions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise programs in both aquatic and land settings.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive management of each patient's condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Anderson Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and lower-level neurological issues. You will have the opportunity to employ your clinical expertise to guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility, strength, and confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Current State of California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.

• Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
