Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center spans 5,000 square feet and is specifically designed for orthopedic outpatient therapy. Work Environment

The work environment at Bon Secours Therapy Center is collaborative, encouraging teamwork amidst a small group of dedicated health professionals, including two seasoned Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant. This onsite position grants you the opportunity to have direct interactions with both patients and your team in an engaging setting. Our flexible Monday to Friday work schedule, from 9 am to 5 pm, allows for a fulfilling work-life balance while still meeting the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and identify patients' specific goals and physical needs.
• Manage a steady caseload with one patient seen per hour, ensuring focused and individualized attention.
• Design tailored rehabilitation programs utilizing advanced techniques to enhance range of motion and mobility.
• Diligently evaluate treatment effectiveness and document patient progress using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Implement evidence-based practices to promote safe, effective, and cost-efficient treatment outcomes.
• Encourage patients to explore alternatives to medication and surgery through holistic approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to create and adjust comprehensive care plans.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy and reinforce positive health practices, including fitness and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, many of whom are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions impacting mobility and quality of life. Our focus on individualized care allows you to develop meaningful relationships with your patients, understanding their unique circumstances and adapting treatment plans accordingly. Your role contributes significantly to improving patient outcomes, restoring their self-sufficiency, and facilitating their return to normal activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Possession of a valid California state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Must maintain a clear professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in developing targeted exercise protocols and rehabilitation plans.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While the primary requirement is a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be highly valued. Proficiency in implementing diverse treatment methodologies and familiarity with patient engagement strategies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
