Work Environment

The position is based in our modern outpatient office in Chula Vista, where you will work alongside a dynamic team consisting of two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address patients' objectives and requirements through comprehensive evaluations and treatment planning.
• Effectively manage a caseload of up to two patients per hour while delivering individualized care.
• Deliver cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' mobility and quality of life using diverse treatment techniques.
• Minimize reliance on medications by providing innovative alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs, considering the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Provide hands-on treatment and education on exercises to promote strength, flexibility, and overall functional improvement.
• Document the treatment process meticulously to track progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize recovery pathways.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment plans to enhance compliance and achieve desired outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals with private medical insurance, often recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries. You will engage with a wide variety of cases that require personalized rehabilitation approaches, leveraging your expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens. The practice is dedicated to fostering a collaborative atmosphere where every patient's journey is respected and valued.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid California Physical Therapist license with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two years of hands-on physical therapy experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing a thorough understanding of treatment protocols and patient care standards. Familiarity with working in a high-demand clinical environment will be advantageous in managing a busy caseload effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
