Work Environment

This onsite position involves working within an outpatient therapy office characterized by state-of-the-art equipment and therapeutic modalities. You will engage directly with patients in a lively setting that encourages collaboration and teamwork. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent work schedule that facilitates work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their functional abilities, pain levels, and movement restrictions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments using evidence-based practices.
• Administer therapeutic modalities and exercises aimed at enhancing patient mobility and reducing pain.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Provide education and resources to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and active participation in their recovery.
• Encourage patients to follow through with their fitness and wellness plans to maintain long-term health benefits.
• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and support staff to ensure cohesive patient care and support.
• Engage in regular communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on addressing the needs of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role requires a thorough understanding of various musculoskeletal disorders and the ability to design targeted therapeutic programs that facilitate effective recovery. With a patient load of one individual per hour, you'll have the time and opportunity to build rapport and trust, which is essential for successful rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license issued by the state of California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy skills and therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional ability to create and implement personalized therapeutic exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Competency in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
