Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for each patient to formulate tailored treatment plans with measurable goals and timelines.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities, assessing progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and clinical summaries based on predetermined goals.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Engage with potential and existing patients for follow-up communications, contributing to the overall client experience.
• Assist in educational efforts by teaching small group fitness classes, promoting health and wellness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client demographic predominantly includes active individuals over the age of 35, many of whom are elite athletes, or those recovering from orthopedic issues. You will also have the opportunity to work with children and teens facing orthopedic conditions, which allows for a multifaceted approach to rehabilitation and development.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role must possess:

• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of five years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercise principles.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships with clients, going above and beyond their expectations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Experience or certification in Pilates.
• Knowledge of NAIOMT training, IASTM techniques, and other advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Experience with vestibular and post-concussion rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
