With a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility, our practice is designed for comfort, efficiency, and excellence in patient care. Our team consists of skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant who collaborate to provide the best therapeutic solutions. We predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our clients receive the financial support needed for effective treatment.

Work Environment

This role is an onsite position situated within our modern rehabilitation facility, allowing you to work closely with your colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will maintain a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing a balanced work-life dynamic. The facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources, facilitating innovative treatment methods that enhance patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to effectively identify and address patients' individual goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a patient caseload, dedicating one hour per individual for focused and quality care.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functionality.
• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs to empower patients in achieving their health goals.
• Mentor and motivate patients throughout the recovery process, encouraging them to actively participate in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Monitor treatment progress, evaluate outcomes, and maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatments.
• Advocate for healthy lifestyle choices, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination enhancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation primarily for orthopedic conditions. This includes those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. As a compassionate caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in guiding them towards functional independence and enhancing their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Hold a valid California Physical Therapist license.
• Have a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Demonstrated competency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with a proven track record in orthopedic outpatient settings. Experience with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and a background in patient education are highly valued. Compensation and Benefits

Empower-Self Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
