At TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, we pride ourselves on being a leading private practice specializing in orthopedic outpatient therapy. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and features advanced sports medicine equipment designed for optimal patient care. Founded and run by physical therapists, our practice is dedicated to serving individuals who have private health insurance, ensuring that we deliver high-quality therapy tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
This full-time position requires an onsite presence, operating primarily within the facility and, when necessary, in home care settings, emphasizing a community-centric approach to physical rehabilitation. Our team currently consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a collaborative environment where professionals can share insights and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' goals and treatment needs, ensuring tailored care plans.
Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour to provide focused and individualized attention.
Monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment outcomes, and adjusting care plans as necessary for maximum effectiveness.
Document all patient interactions through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, with proficiency in software such as WebPT.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Our focus is on a diverse patient population, primarily individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries and surgical procedures. This role is pivotal in providing personalized therapy that promotes recovery and improves the quality of life, especially for athletes and active individuals looking to regain peak performance levels.
A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure comprehensive understanding of advanced therapy techniques.
A valid California Physical Therapist license is essential for practice.
Expertise in manual therapy techniques that facilitate improved patient outcomes.
Additional training in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as sports medicine, may be beneficial.
